Staff Selection Commission’s most awaiting exam going to be held on 14th and 21st April of 2013, we hope that you have already applied for the position.

So here the story begins, on 19th of January 2013 when SSC announced to conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination for this year they also updated that the pattern have been changed. Most of the time when we heard of such changes they always left a scary feeling.
But! This time Not, Yes! It’s great news for all SSC CGL Recruitment 2013 aspirants that the revised syllabus and updated examination pattern will benefit you, specifically to those who don’t believe in short cuts and give there 100% while preparing for tests.
As I said above, this new pattern will only benefit those who are serious to crack CGL Examination through their knowledge and talent, the reason behind this statement is that the CGL examination pattern is strictly designed to restrict malpractices and scams.

Negative Marks Counting Criteria: For each wrong attempt you will have to pay 0.25 marks from your score of Tier I and Paper II and Paper III of Tier II instead you’d have to lose your 0.50 marks on each wrong answer in Paper I of Tier II

Scheme of SSC CGL 2013 Examination: below you can find detailed scheme of Tier I, II and III
Tier I and II will carry multiple choice objective type questions where as you’d have to clear an Personal Interview, Personality Test and Computer Proficiency test under Tier III

Part A- 50 Marks questions of  General Intelligence with Reasoning 
Part B- 50 Marks questions of  General Awareness
Part C 50 Marks questions of Quantitative Aptitude
Part D. 50 Marks questions of  English Comprehension
Total : 200 Marks
Time Allotted: 02 hours and for VH category candidates: 02: 40 hours
Paper I. 100 questions of 200 marks of Quantitative Abilities (Simple Mathematics)

Time Allotted: 2 hours and For VH candidates: 02: 40 hours
Paper II 200 marks questions for English Language & Comprehension
Total: 400 Marks
Time Allotted: 2 and for VH candidates 2: 40 hours
Interview round would be of 100 Marks
A Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) required to be clear if you have applied for CSS Applicants

Criteria for posts required not to clear Interview except Compiler.
